Flavors of the Foothills
Official Rules
- Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 21 years or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of McMinnville AVA Wineries, Visit McMinnville, participating restaurants, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win. Open to U.S. residents only. Proof of eligibility, such as a valid government-issued ID, may be required to claim prizes.
- Promotion Period
Starts: February 1, 2025. Ends: April 30, 2025. Winners will be announced on May 9, 2025.
- How to Participate
Obtain a Flavors of the Foothills Passport in person at any participating winery or restaurant.
- Winery Stamps: Taste at or purchase from participating wineries to earn a stamp.
- Restaurant Stamps: Spend $25 or more at participating restaurants to earn a stamp.
- Collect a minimum of 5 winery stamps and 3 restaurant stamps to be eligible to win.
- Submission
Submit completed passports to a participating location or email scanned copies to info@mcminnvilleava.org by May 5, 2025, to qualify for prize consideration. Submissions postmarked or emailed after this date will not be eligible. Limit one passport submission per household.

- First Prize (One Winner):
○ “Taste of The McMinnville AVA” – 12-bottle collection
○ Weekend getaway in McMinnville: Two nights at a premium McMinnville hotel (Exact location to be confirmed based on availability)
○ Dinner at a participating restaurant (Exact location to be confirmed based on availability)
○ Elevated wine-tasting experience at one of the participating wineries for two guests
○ Entry for two to Flavors of the Foothills Spring Tasting Event on May 24, 2025 ● Second Prize (One Winner):
○ “Lil’ Taste of McMinnville AVA” – 6-bottle collection
○ Dinner for two at a participating Flavors of the Foothills restaurant (Exact location to be confirmed based on availability)
○ Entry for two to Flavors of the Foothills Spring Tasting Event on May 24, 2025 ● Third Prize (Five Winners):
○ Entry for two to Flavors of the Foothills Spring Tasting Event on May 24, 2025 ● Finishers (anyone with 5+ winery and 3+ restaurant stamps):
○ 10% off tickets to Flavors of the Foothills Spring Tasting Event on May 24, 2025
Note: Winners are responsible for their own travel to McMinnville. Hotel stay and dinner reservations are subject to availability. Blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Winners must book the wine-tasting experience and dinner reservations in advance.
- Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected via a random drawing from all eligible entries. Winners will be notified by email and phone by May 9, 2025. Multiple attempts to contact winners will be made within a seven-day period. If no response is received by May 16, 2025, an alternate winner will be selected.
- General Conditions
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of the organizers, which are final and binding. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. All taxes and expenses associated with prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest if unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to fraud, technical issues, or natural disasters.
- Publicity Release
By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
- Privacy Statement
Entrants’ personal data, such as email addresses and phone numbers, will only be used for contest purposes and will not be shared with third parties.
- Liability
The organizers are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries. Participants agree to release and hold harmless McMinnville AVA, Visit McMinnville, and all participating businesses from any liability resulting from participation or prize use.
- Void Where Prohibited
This promotion is void where prohibited by law.
