At La Biblioteca, we produce small-batch, high-quality, sustainable wines that are pure expressions of our estate vineyard. Our wines are dynamic, yet nuanced, offering Pinot Noir and Chardonnay lovers an extraordinary wine experience—a true taste of Oregon’s magical terroir. We’re firm believers in quality over quantity. We allow the land to give us just what she wants, taking nothing more.

Our LIVE-certified and organically-farmed estate vineyard, Aegrina, is the source for all of the wines we make. The vineyard sits in the protected weather shadow of the Coast Range mountains just minutes from downtown McMinnville. Exposure to powerful summer sunshine and cooling winds during the growing season leads to small berry sizes, concentration of flavor, and elevated acidity in the grapes.

Our wines can be characterized as lifted and aromatic with notable complexity. Our winemaker, Burgundian legend Francois Millet, has a specific philosophy in the cellar which emphasizes minimal intervention and the subtle use of new oak barrels to ensure the expression of terroir. Millet believes in translating the beauty of nature through the vintage, respecting the mood of the terroir, and avoiding forceful techniques that could compromise the wine’s natural character.
